Europe’s fastest growing online gaming operator is attempting to simplify the sometimes complex betting process. Using natural language, Kindred wants to target new customers and enhance the experience for existing customers. They have used innovative technologies to ease navigation and help users find the desired bet.

Enter Teneo:

Kindred used Artificial Solutions’ Natural Language Interaction (NLI) platform, known as Teneo, to increase ease of use in their app. Thanks to this technology, Kindred’s users can place a bet by saying something as simple as, “put a tenner on a 3-0 City win.”

The ease of a betting shop in the convenience of an app

Enabling customers to interact naturally mimics the ease of the betting shop at the user’s local convenience. Teneo intelligently interprets a user’s meaning through natural language and places a bet, asking the customer for clarification if required.

“Using Teneo has enabled us to deliver not just the application our customers want, but provided us with the insight to build on that conversation too”, said Kindred’s head of strategic development. In a survey of Teneo’s clients, 91% had a positive first reaction.
